TO STOP BOYCOTTING MISSGUIDED OR TO NOT.
It takes a lot for me to be really furious with a company and the way their systems work. I am a really forgiving and understanding person when it comes to business due to owning my own. But a few months back Missguided really peed me off.
It's no secret their customer service is pants. I mean their twitter help page must get 1000 messages every hour with people wanting to know where their order is or why they haven't had a refund. I had only experienced a bad situation once or twice with them. Until they brought out that crazy discount code. I ordered over £120 worth of things and it was only costing me £48 so obviously I was so excited. I couldn't even sleep thinking about all the amazing pieces I had just ordered so I made another order. £99 worth of stuff and I only had to pay £12 like this was a total dream.
It wasn't until a few days later that I noticed, I had gotten my 2nd order but my 1st one was nowhere to be seen. I left it for 5 days to give it a chance to get to me even though it was next day delivery ( I know they are so unreliable for this but still ) - I then tweeted them and they told me that my payment hadnt even gone through. When my email and my bank account said otherwise. So obviously this made me so angry and confused. They then refused to refund me the money since they weren't sending the items out - Baffled. Nothing but useless emails were sent to me which I found shocking, you took my money, won't send me items like what kind of company does that?
I then had to contact my bank and was told to file a dispute which would take upto 14 days - Biggest stress and hassle ever. I then told Missguided this and oh I got my refund within 2 days. It was written all over them that they were at it, but to just take someones money is just disgusting. Stop handing out codes if you aren't going to process the orders, it is such a waste of time. I seen this happen to so many girls.
- Anyway, I needed a new knitted jumper, seen they had this and bought it. But I bought it angrily because they don't deserve my money so it's not even the same thing, but it is an amazing design.
